Lambir National Park

The Lambir National Park is located along the Miri-Bintulu Road, some 30km south of Miri Town. This park has an outstanding regional and global conservation significance for its extraordinary species-rich forest, ideal for botanist and researchers throughout the world. Moreover, the park has a high potential value for recreational, educational and research purposes.

The most interesting places at Lambir are series of small waterfalls and a trail system. Since last weekend I don’t have any work to do, I went over there with a couple of my friend to explore this place. This is some of picture taken during this trip.

At main entrance..Before that we need to register at Head Office for safety purposes.

On the bridge…..

Latak Waterfall. I don’t bring my tripod thus this picture look static.. ermm…

Gangster Kampung Dusun….

Belia 4B meeting…

Junction at the top of Lambir Hill.. 5.4km to go…

Finally I able to finish the Lambir Hill tracking…he..he..he… so tiredlah..
